Details: Quality Engineer – Die Casting Manufacturing Our client, a high pressure aluminum die cast manufacturing firm with value-added machining and finishing capabilities, is seeking a Quality Engineer for their facility in Southeast Wisconsin.  The company is a TS 16949 certified manufacturer, enjoys a diversified customer list and is an ardent practitioner of Lean Manufacturing processes. The Quality Engineer plays the leadership in the development and maintenance of an ISO/TS Quality Management system and all supporting, planning, internal auditing, surveillance auditing and corrective action activities.  The incumbent will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing staffs to ensure achievement of both quality and production goals.  The Quality Manager will develop and nurture strong professional relationships with customer technical engineering and quality staff to address issues and corrective actions. Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for the Quality Engineer include: Serve as the primary point of contact with the ISO registrar Develop PPAP submittals including control plans, PFMEA, flow charts and inspection criteria Manage inspection processes for CMM equipment Provide guidance for the SPC reporting system Assure all control requirements for the Quality Management System are maintained and observed Assure performance of all internal audits
